​The official language of the Congress will be English. All abstract submissions and presentations should be in English.

CLOTHING

​During the entire meeting, attire will be informal.​

VISA REQUIREMENTS

​SIOP 2019 participants are requested to consult French Embassy or Consulate in their home country or with their travel agency for specific details relating visa requirements. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa if required.

Participants requiring a formal letter of invitation to enable them to make their arrangements to participate in the Congress should send a request for an official invitation letter to our Invitation Department (see “Contact Us” page).​

Please note that this letter cannot be regarded as a commitment regarding scheduling or financial support from the organizers.​

The congress secretariat and organisers cannot accept responsibility whatsoever for injury or damage involving persons and property during the meeting. Participants are advised to make their own arrangements with respect to health and travel insurance.

GUEST ATTENDANCE POLICY

​All event activities (including educational sessions, meal functions, exhibit hall, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children*, accompanying spouses and family members, colleagues, etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas without a badge.
If you need to have children accompany you to sessions, please obtain a visitor badge for them from the registration desk.

CHILDREN & FAMILIES*

  • Access to Conference Events / Children Younger than 18

    All conference technical and networking events require a badge for admission. Registered attendees may bring children with them as long as they have been issued a badge. Registration badges for children under 18 are free and available at the registration desk onsite. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and guardians are asked to help maintain a professional, disturbance-free conference environment. Please also note that some content of scientific presentations and talks might not be appropriate for children.

  • Exhibition Hall Access / Children Younger than 18

    Everyone who attends the exhibition must be registered and have a badge. Badges for children are free and available onsite at the registration desk. Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Guardians are asked to help maintain a professional, disturbance-free exhibition environment. Children under 18 are not allowed in the exhibition area during exhibition move-in and move-out. Please also note that some content of scientific posters and exhibition materials might not be appropriate for children.

CONGRESS PHOTO RELEASE

​SIOP will take photos of  attendees throughout the congress. These photos are for SIOP use only and may appear on the SIOP Website, newsletter, congress brochures, congress app, social media outlets, or other future SIOP promotional material.

By virtue of your attendance, you agree to usage of your likeness in such media.
